Mayda – The Ashalim Center for Knowledge & Learning: Ashalim's professional education and training efforts are centralized at the Mayda Center, conveniently located in Tel-Aviv, at Hatikva neighborhood.
Mayda serves as a reservoir and accessible resource for documenting and disseminating field knowledge on issues facing children and youth at risk, their families, and professionals. Mayda promotes inter-disciplinary approaches that combine aspects of health, education, and social welfare.
Mayda offers Israel's professional community a range of resources, supplementary courses, training programs, seminars and conferences, and publications. Several peer groups also engage in ongoing learning.
The "MAYDA News" bi-monthly newsletter (in Hebrew) describes the main activities available in Mayda.
Mayda's "Et Hasadeh" (in Hebrew) magazine is published semi-annually and each issue focuses on a particular topic, such as work with parents.
